But if it wasn't for your misfortunes I'd be a heavenly person today

I can't find my checkbook, and I'm seriously about to panic. The last check I wrote was an offering for the Last DUB. So between then and now, it's disappeared. Has anyone seen it?!

Older vs. Younger
I came to a realization yesterday morning while surfing Wikipedia: when it comes to celebrity men, I usually think guys that are at least 10-15 years older than me are really hot (example: Johnny Rzeznik, Josh Holloway). But when it comes to all the other guys I know, I tend to be attracted to guys close to my own age (no examples given to protect myself and others, haha!). Weird, huh? Actually, what am I saying? I already knew this; I think it just really suck in yesterday. Though I'm sure that if I met these celebs in real life, I'd think they acted too much like my mother. O.o

I don't care if you think it's bad that I watch a lot of TV shows. I love all my shows and they love me. I get sad when they are canceled or or get moved to a night where they interfere with another of my shows. Summer hiatuses suck. Now be quiet; Alias is on! Go away!

Who's going camping? 'Cause I am this year!

The Ritenbaughs had a cookout on Mother's Day. I had a good burger, some cookies and Yuengling. Enjoyed a very short game of badminton and much socialization. Yep.

I've been drinking way too much beer lately. How am I ever going to lose weight? So now that all the Corona is gone, I'm going semidry. Meaning, I won't be going out and buying a six-pack for a long time. But restaurants are fair game.

My Room = Teh Suck
I should be thankful that I even have a room all to myself, but every time I go in it I just think of how much I want to change about it. I would love to paint one wall (don't know what color yet), but that would mean moving a lot of furniture back and forth. It's also really too small for me. I have stuff all over the floor because I have nowhere else to put it. Closet is too small as well: all my shoes are in a big pile on the floor because the search for the perfect shoe rack is ongoing. Bah. *begins eyeballing the garage*

Softball for us has officially started. Our first "game" was yesterday evening. It was pretty fun! I did a whole lot better than I though I would. Maybe all that working out was paying off. Anyway, ya'll should try to come next time.

Blog Subjects
Just in case you were wondering, I pick my blog subjects by taking a lyric from the song I'm listening to at the moment. So there ya go.

Won't to remain in memory

Loch Norman Highland Games
I went to the Loch Norman Highland Games on April 23 with Joey, Karen & Joseph. That was pretty fun! I was able to find the crest of the clan MacIver. I think it looks pretty cool, don't you? I bought three pins with them on it: one apiece for myself, Josh & Dad. I bought Mom a claddagh ring (so pretty!). I was also able to buy Josh a sword, which Mom & I split the cost of and gave to him as a birthday gift. :) It's such a cool sword; wish it didn't have the "flaws" on it. But oh well. I got sunburned again, too. :(

Went to Georgia the weekend of April 30 to see Fall Out Boy, The All-American Rejects, Hawthorne Heights, From First To Last & October Fall with Brook, Cody, Kelly, Sarah, Lacey & Chris. I personally thought AAR was the best. FFTL sucked the big one. Man, they were awful! The rest were just... eh. It was fun, don't get me wrong! Anyways, there's some pictures up on my Yahoo! Photos. I didn't put any actual concert pictures up there because... just because.

M:I 3
Saw Mission: Impossible III with a big group this past Saturday. I thought it was a fun movie. Before that, we went to Red Robin for dinner, where the server snarked at me for laughing at something Josh said. Needless to say, his tip was shot after that. But that aside, the whole evening was good times. The highlight had to be when Joey got the staff to sing Happy Birthday (and violating copyright in the process O.o). Josh's reaction was priceless - and all captured on video. Next thing we have to plan for is X-Men: The Last Stand. Who's with me?

Graduation Party
Jenny & I are planning a graduation party for Josh & Joey. May 14th is the RSVP date! We're gonna be having burgers & dogs (courtesy of my dad!), so I'll be passing around a list soon to find out which one you'd prefer, so he'll know how many of each to get. Was that a run-on sentence or what? LOL I think this is gonna be a good party! Also, people keep asking me what to get Josh. I have one good answer: gift cards. :D

Working Out Isn't Working Out
I've been working nearly every weekday for nearly four months now, and though I feel a whole lot better my clothes are only getting tighter. What am I doing wrong?! I figure it's probably diet, but I can't put my finger on what foods are working against me. And according to this survey I took in a book that Nany gave me, I have a fast metabolism. I know that's not right. I have a slow metabolism. CRAAAAAP!! *cries*

That's all, kittens. Comment and ye shall recieve. ;P

Come on, and show them your love

So here I go again, using a format Josh uses. :) Also, I'll be X-posting this to my own MySpace.

As I told Bill at church this past week, I'm existing. Nothing bad is happening, but neither is anything really good happening either. I know it's probably because the Holy Days are coming up so the demons are out to get me, so all I can do is try to get past this.

You're prolly having a o_O moment right now, but that's what I'm gonna talk about. I've never been particularly happy with my teeth, especially one tooth that is turned sideways (if you haven't noticed yet, you will now). I've always wanted to get braces on my top teeth to fix that tooth. Now it turns out I'll probably have to wait another 5 years or so to even think about getting that done, because I think my wisdom teeth are moving. My bite feels different now, and sometimes my teeth hurt. *cries* I hate dental problems. I'm so anal about my teeth. Shoulda seen how freaked out I was about my first cavity last year.

I've only seen one movie (in the theater) in the past two months, and that was V For Vendetta. Very good movie, if you can look past the gayness of it. *points at avatar* Hey, it made my break my vow to not see any movie in the theater more than twice (I started that after I saw Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith four times. O_O I still can't believe I did that).

MySpace Picture
I just want to give a huge thanks to all of people who actually took the time to tell me how good I looked. Ya'll just literally made my whole week. :)

The Play
We performed our play three weeks ago here at the church. I must say, it was out best performance yet! But now there's talk of us performing it at the Feast. GAAAHHH!! Stage fright! lol Anyways, if you want to see it I'm hoping to get a DVD of it soon. I'll then try to put it up online. I'll give out the link if that happens.

Last Weekend
Only a few things to note. Devon & Josh (her BF) were here, so we went out for some good times. Bowling ended up being a bust; didn't wanna wait an hour for a lane. We ended up at Manchester Tavern. Service was lousy, but at least we were able to talk and be heard. Plus, I got my drinks paid for. *thumbs up*

Keith Urban/Pat Green Concert

Saw Keith Urban a week ago. Kelly & I were actually late due to traffic, but it didn't matter because it started almost an hour late. Our seats could have been better, but I'm not complaining. Pat Green was was the opening act; he was OK, but he ain't no Keith Urban. He did have one moment tough when his son came out on stage and Pat sang to him (the kid's only about 3 years old). It was so sweet. Then there was a 30 minute break... then Keith came out. Gah, such a great concert! I got some decent pictures; hopefully next time we'll be closer. He sand all of my favorite songs. He also took a break about 2/3 of the way through while his band played an Aerosmith song. Then he came back towards the end of that song and started playing the drums. I was surprised how many people didn't notice o.O About halfway through the show he came to a platform in the middle of the arena by holding onto something hanging from the ceiling, which put him so much closer. He also played the piano during one of his songs. This was honestly the best concert I've ever been to, I had such a great time. Kelly & I already agreed that the next time he comes to Atlanta, we're going (and whoever else wants to come).

My next concert is Fallout Boy & All-American Rejects in GA with Josh, Chris, Kelly, Levi, Brook, Cody & Sarah. Hope it's good, since I don't particularly care for FOB.

I've finally done it, kids - I've joined the YMCA. I've been going every morning for a week now with Chris & Kristy. Gotta make the $21 $28 a month worth it! Maybe by the time the Holy Days come around you'll be able to notice a difference. I hope. Gotta stop munching on the darn Nilla Wafers. Who bought those things anyways!? :P

I still love my car, but stuff just keeps going wrong with it. I've had constant problems with the brakes (don't worry, they're not gonna fail on me, they're just noisy!), the driver's side mirror was wonky (warranty covered that), the windsheild wippers don't work right (not sure how to handle that one, already had Carmax "fix it" once) and the radio keep resetting all my radio preferences to 107.9. >8O Now, the trunk flap thingie has broken. It's pulled all the way out and won't spring back in. I don't know if that will be covered under the warranty. And no one knows how it broke. Blargh!

(Yeah, I know that's not my car. Didn't have a chance to take a picture of it before it broke. :( )

Fan has Heart Attack While Watching Game I know this story is a couple of weeks old and you've probably heard it already, but it still makes me think, "Woah." Plus, I'm surprised there weren't more heart attacks in Pittsburgh (and everywhere else) because of that game - especially given the horrible officiating in that game.
